My wellness philosophy involves balancing the three body systems. The first system is your hormonal system, which produces your sex and stress hormones. The second system is your digestive system, which breaks down food for use by the body. The third and final system is the detoxification system, which protects you from free radical damage and chemical toxicity. The free radical damage and chemical toxicity both come from your environment and the foods you eat.

Every health issue can be traced back to a problem within one or more of your three body systems.

Through targeted lab testing that you can do in the privacy of your own home for each of these system, I am able to assess how each system is working and design an individualized program to rebalance and restore your body.

I have seen, over and over again, that an individualized diet plan, a scientifically based supplement program, stress reduction and exercise, a person’s health can improve dramatically – not only physically, but emotionally. With an ongoing wellness plan, many chronic health problems can be avoided, such as diabetes, heart disease, hormone imbalances, auto-immune disease and obesity.

How does a telemedicine consultation work?

I work primarily with patients over the telephone or a web, face to face, call. The functional medicine health programs that I design are based on the results of lab tests that can easily be done in your home. The types of tests that are used are saliva, stool, and urine samples. Some of the more advanced testing may require a blood draw. If you need a blood draw, I will connect you with a mobile phlebotomist who will travel to your home. The prescribed health programs are based on lab tests that assess the function of the three body systems: hormonal, digestive, and detoxification.

First, you will have a free 15 minute consultation to be sure that Acupuncture and Natural Health Solutions is a good fit for you, and to be sure that I can accept you into my program. If we decide to work together, you will schedule a new patient consultation that will take about one hour. During this call, we will review your personal and family health history. I will also make recommendations for lab tests that are appropriate for your specific health issues.

Once your lab work has been completed, I will explain the meaning of your test results during a follow-up consultation. I will also create an individualized health program for you. This program will include diet changes, nutritional supplements, exercise, lifestyle and stress management recommendations. Subsequent consultations are scheduled monthly to monitor your progress and to modify your program.

What is the fee for a consultation?

The fees vary based on the type of consultation and the time we spend together. Please contact the office for more information on the fees.

Payment is due at the time of subsequent consultations.
